Install your WordPress with the WordPress Toolkit
1. Log in to your cPanel. 2. In the Domains section, click on WordPress Toolkit.
3. In WordPress Toolkit, click the Install WordPress button.
4. The installation page will appear, and you need to fill in all the details of your WordPress website.
Choosing the right settings during installation is crucial for the proper functioning of your site. Installing WordPress with WordPress Toolkit simplifies this process by guiding you through each step, ensuring you select the settings that best suit your specific needs. This will also prevent potential technical issues in the future.
Installation path:select the path where you want to install WordPress. You will see your WordPress files and directories in this folder. Website Title:Enter your WordPress title. Plugins/Themes: select the set of plugins/themes you want to install for your WordPress. Website Language:Select the language of your website. Version: select the latest stable version. Username:username for your WordPress admin account. Password:password for your WordPress administrator account. Email:email address of your WordPress account. 5. Add the details of the MySQL database. 6. Enable automatic updates: This option is considered the most important since it ensures your website will always be online and secure as updates become available, whether they are minor or major. You can also enable automatic updates for your plugins and themes.
After making this decision, go ahead and click on Install to start the site's installation process. Congratulations, your new WordPress site is created!
Install your themes and plugins
Once your installation is complete, the window shown below will appear. This will give you the option to install plugins. These plugins come directly from . wordpress.org
Installing themes and plugins after setting up WordPress with WordPress Toolkit gives you greater flexibility to customize your site. You can easily choose from a wide range of available plugins that will enhance your site's functionality and performance. This ensures your site can evolve according to your needs without requiring extensive technical expertise.
If you click on 'Install plugins', a new window will appear, where you will find a list of available themes and plugins to install with all their details (Ratings, Number of downloads, Publisher name, etc.) and all the information you need to decide if it’s the right plugin/theme for you.
If you later realize you have forgotten an important plugin or wish to modify your plugins and themes, you can always find them in these tabs here on the main dashboard.
Thanks to the WordPress Toolkit, ongoing management of your plugins and themes is simplified. You can quickly install, activate, or remove these elements, which is particularly useful if you need to test different configurations. Find and install your existing WordPress website
Let's say you previously created a WordPress site that you want to integrate and manage directly on WordPress Toolkit. As long as the site already exists under your account, you can click on the 'Scan' button. This option will subsequently search your account's directories and find your previous WordPress sites that are there.
Backup your WordPress site
On the website you wish to back up, select “Backup / Restore.” From the dropdown menu, select the ‘Backup’ button. WordPress Toolkit will now automatically create a backup for you.
Restore or download your site's backup
Browse through your latest backups available on WP ToolKit. Select the website you want to restore/download. Click the restore or download button on the right.
