WordPress Manager is a new tool added on Softaculous to install and manage your site WordPress directly on your cPanel hosting without needing to log into your admin panel. With all its new options, WordPress Manager allows users to make changes and perform necessary updates to their sites in a single interface.
Access WordPress Manager
Log in to your cPanel account In the Software section, click on Softaculous Apps Installer On Softaculous, click on the WordPress Manager icon at the top of the page.
You can also access it by clicking on the WordPress icon next to the WordPress installation you want to manage from the All Installations page, as shown in the screenshot below.
Automatic login to the WordPress admin panel
You can easily log in to your WordPress admin console with one click without needing to enter your username or password, as shown in the screenshot below.
Updating your WordPress installation
If an update is available for your installation, you will notice the 'Upgrade Now' button next to the version. Just click this button, and you will be redirected to the update page.
Automatic update of core WordPress settings
Select the automatic update settings for your WordPress. You can choose from the following options. Softaculous will carry out updates based on your choice: 1. Do not update automatically 2. Update only to minor versions (e.g., 5.5.1 will be upgraded to 5.5.x and not 5.6.x) 3. Update to the latest available major and minor version (e.g., 5.5.1 will be upgraded to 5.5.x until a new major version is available, and 5.6.x when it becomes available) Just choose the desired update option, and it will be saved automatically. You will then see a success message.
Automatic update of plugins and themes
With this feature, you can enable or disable automatic updates for your installed WordPress plugins or themes. If you enable automatic updates, they will be checked every 24 hours and applied if available. Just press the Enable/Disable button, and it will be done without your intervention.
Enable/Disable search engine visibility
The Search Engine Visibility option is very important especially if you are still developing your site. You can disable this option if you do not want search engines to index your incomplete site or enable it otherwise. Click on the Enable/Disable button, and you will see the save message.
Enable/Disable WordPress CRON
By default, WordPress CRON is enabled. It performs various tasks on your site. Sometimes, for large sites, this can consume your web hosting resources. If you want to enable/disable the wp-cron setting, you can adjust this option at your convenience.
Enable/Disable WordPress Debug Mode
The WordPress debug mode (disabled by default) is very useful if you encounter issues on your site and want to find out why. You can enable/disable the debug mode from Softaculous WordPress Manager. Simply press the Enable/Disable button as shown in the screenshot below, and your choice will be saved. Note: It is not recommended to keep debug mode active on your production site. Disable debug mode on the production site once you have finished debugging.
Change your WordPress site URL
The URL of your website can be modified from WordPress Manager. If you have changed your site's admin panel URL to an invalid one and can no longer access your panel, you can restore it from WordPress Manager. Edit the "Website URL" field and click the "Save Site Information" button. The URL will also be changed in your WordPress database.
Change your site name
The name of your website can be changed from WordPress Manager. Change the "Site Name" value in the field and click the "Save Site Information" button. The site name will also be updated in your WordPress database.

The "Upload theme" section allows you to install a theme by uploading its zip file.
Add a User
Do you want to add new users like editors or authors to your blog? WordPress Manager by Softaculous comes with an integrated tool to add WordPress users with different roles. 1- Access the user management tool
2- Click on the 'Add User' tab
3- Select the user role you want to add and fill in the required details
