phpMyAdmin is an open-source software tool written in PHP, designed to manage tables and data within the database. phpMyAdmin supports various types of operations on MariaDB and MySQL. The main purpose of phpMyAdmin is to direct the administration of MySQL on the Web.
Import a database
Before importing your database, it is first necessary to have a database already created. If not, you can create one by following this guide Once the database is created, follow these steps: Log in to your cPanel account In the section Database section, click on phpMyAdmin

Select the ".sql" file to import, then click on Execute

In the dropdown menu, choose the format in which you want to save the file. SQL is the most common. Click the buttonExecute. A pop-up window appears allowing you to download the file.
