When building your website, you may want a coming-soon page before the official launch. This page introduces your site while development continues. It may be the first contact with potential customers or subscribers, so keep it clear, useful and representative of your business.
How to create a coming-soon page in cPanel
- Sign in to your cPanel.
- In the Files, click File Manager (File Manager).
- Click +File to create a file.
4. Enter the desired filename with the extension .html and the destination directory, then click Create New File(for example, comingsoon.html).
5. Right-click the file you created and select HTML Edit.
6. Add and customize the information you want to display. You can introduce your services, provide contact details and include links to your social profiles.
7. Click Save.
Check the result and troubleshoot
A coming-soon page does not protect private site files. Check direct URLs, forms and indexing during development. Keep a procedure for restoring the final homepage.
