To connect your domain to your Wix site, use a Wix plan that supports custom domains. Before editing DNS, add the domain to your Wix account.

1. Sign in to Wix. Open theSite menu, thenConnect Domain to add the domain.
2. ChooseConnect your own custom domain and clickSave and Continue.»
- Enter your domain and select its provider when requested.
- Choose the connection method appropriate for your setup.

Method 1: Change nameservers
Wix supplies the nameservers to use. The screenshot below is only an example:
Enter the actual nameservers in your domain settings in the CAP CONNECT Client Area. Open your Client Area and clickDomains»
ClickNameserversfor the relevant domain.
SelectUse custom nameservers, replace the current nameservers with those supplied by Wix, then clickChange Nameservers.
The change takes effect as DNS caches expire. Timing depends on TTL and resolver behavior.
Method 2: Pointing with DNS records
Sign in to your Client Area and click Domains ».
Open the relevant domain, then click its settings icon.
Alternatively, click the menu on the right, then DNS Zone Management
Scroll to Quick Configuration, then click Apply DNS Configuration
DNS changes may remain cached; check the current records and allow for their TTL.
Check the result and troubleshoot
With pointing, the DNS zone stays with its current provider. Changing to Wix nameservers moves DNS management, so recreate required MX and other records there. Use your Wix account’s values rather than an old screenshot.
