To verify .ma holder details, CAP CONNECT may request documentation under ANRT identification rules, including decision ANRT/DG/N°02/2024, holders of .ma domain names may be asked to complete their file according to the operation and previously verified information. Why is identity verification required for .ma domains?

Use the official document-submission process to complete verification. Submit identity documents only through the authorized Client Area and check that the page belongs to CAP CONNECT.

Identity verification must follow the instructions for your case and may concern operations such as:

  • New .ma domain registrations

  • Renewal of existing .ma domains

  • Changes of domain holder

Failure to complete verification may result in suspension, deactivation or refusal of domain registration.

Documents required for identity verification

Submit a valid, legible document appropriate to your status:

1. Moroccan individuals

  • National identity card (CIN), or

  • Valid residence card

2. Foreign individuals

  • Valid passport

3. Legal entities / Companies

  • Commercial register extract (Model 7), or

  • ICE certificate, or

  • Another equivalent official legal document

How to submit your document

Submit documents through your Client Area.

1.Sign in to your CAP CONNECT Client Area, then click Domains in the main menu and select .MA Identity Verification

  1. Select the document type from the dropdown. The document must identify the domain holder.

4. Enter the document number in the appropriate field, using the number shown on the uploaded document:

  • Identification number for a CIN / passport

  • ICE or commercial register number for company documentation

5. Click Choose File to select your document, then click Upload to submit it.

If the required document is not submitted within the applicable deadline, registration may not be completed or the domain may be suspended or deactivated. Check the instructions and deadline for your request, and contact support if you need help completing verification.
