A .ma domain can have a pending-creation status or a status preventing DNS publication. Distinguish the technical status from its administrative cause.
Read the exact status
PendingCreate can indicate a request still being processed. serverHold means the registry is not publishing the domain in DNS. These statuses alone do not prove that the name contains a reserved term.
Check the request and messages
- Review the domain and order in the Client Area.
- Read emails or tickets requesting information or documents.
- Check that holder and administrative contact details are accurate.
- Ask support for the confirmed cause and required action.
Respond to a verification request
The .ma registry applies registration requirements and may request verification. Use the documents and deadlines specified for your case. Do not leave an incomplete request unanswered.
Distinguish this from hosting problems
A domain not published by the registry is not fixed simply by changing site directories or certificates. If its status blocks resolution, address that before troubleshooting the website.
After verification
Check the new status, DNS resolution, website and email. Caches may retain older responses; also check the authoritative nameservers.
