When creating your website, you will likely need to set up an “under construction” or “coming soon” page via your cPanel interface.
Although building a website now takes less time than in the past, an “under construction” or “coming soon” landing page is still necessary to present your site before its official launch.
This page serves as the first interaction with potential customers and subscribers. Thus, it is essential to design it well to leave a positive impression and capture visitors’ interest.
How to Create an “Under Construction” Page on cPanel?
1. Log in to your cPanel interface.
2. In the Files section, click on File Manager.
3. Click on +File to create a new file.
4. On the displayed page, enter the name of the file you want to create in .html format and specify its new location, then click on create new file. (Example: Comingsoon.html).
5. Right-click on the file you just created and then select HTML Edit.
6. On the next page, insert and customize all the details you want to display on your under-construction page.
Include information about your services, contact details, ways to get in touch, links to your social media accounts, etc.
7. Click on Save.
