JetBackup is a backup restoration tool available on cPanel. It provides direct access to pre-existing backups of your website and allows you to restore them.
In other words, JetBackup lets you view the backups you have previously made and restore them, but it does not create new backups.

What is Data Restoration?
Data restoration or recovery refers to retrieving lost data, regardless of the cause. Whether due to human error, hardware issues, or an accident, your data must have been backed up to be restored later.
What Types of Backups are Available in JetBackup?
JetBackup provides access to several types of backups, each supported by a sub-tool for the respective type.
The sub-tools are as follows:
Full Backups: Complete backup of the entire website
File Backups: Backup of individual files
Cron Job Backups: Backup of predefined Cron job definitions. Cron is a utility program that allows us to schedule specific tasks at specific times repeatedly.
DNS Backups: Backup of DNS (Domain Name System) settings
Database Backups: Backup of databases
Email Backups: Backup of email accounts and messages
Queue: This tool allows you to track the restoration or backup actions you have performed and their download progress.
Note: Restoring a backup via JetBackup on cPanel may result in overwriting current data on the hosting account.
For instance, restoring a specific file’s backup replaces the content of the file’s current version with that of the backup.
To avoid this issue, you can create a copy of your current data before proceeding with the restoration or perform a manual backup.
