Using a Simple CSV or Excel Spreadsheet
This feature allows you to use two types of files to simultaneously create multiple email addresses or email forwarders for your account. Address Importer You can use Excel spreadsheet files (.xls) or a comma-separated values file, also known as a CSV file (.csv), to import the data. A CSV file is a plain text file that has been given a .csv extension. This flexibility in file format choice greatly simplifies data import, whether you prefer working with Excel spreadsheets or CSV files. You can quickly and efficiently import your information into your cPanel account.
Preparing the Files for Import
To import CSV/XLS files, certain data must be provided.
Importing Email Addresses

How to Import Your CSV or Excel File into cPanel
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- In the “Email” section, click on “Email Importer.”
3. Upload your file by clicking on “Choose File.”
If you have a CSV file that does not contain headers, uncheck the last option “Process the first column as header” and then click “Next.”
If you have an XLS file that contains headers, leave the last option “Process the first column as header” checked, then click “Next.”
On the next page, select the corresponding domain.

And there you go, your addresses are successfully imported. You can check this with the checkmark icon next to each email address.
